Aside from a run-on sentence, you have taken the first steps toward change. The study habits acquired throughout the K-12 system need to be "unlearned" so that more appropriate habits can bridge the gap from weak to efficient. I think you are on your way. Just keep it up, and don't revert to the old habits.
